What it is

What is a managed NOC?

A managed network operations centre (NOC) is a team of engineers who monitor your network and infrastructure around the clock, detect faults before users notice them, and run the incident process until service is restored. You get a 24/7 operations room without building, staffing and training one yourself.

A monitoring tool on its own only sends alerts. A NOC turns alerts into action: someone checks that the alert is real, finds the cause, applies a fix or calls the right supplier, keeps you informed, and records what happened so it does not repeat. That is the difference between a failed link becoming an outage and becoming a ticket closed before breakfast.

Our NOC covers network devices, servers, virtual platforms, internet and WAN links, cloud workloads and key applications. It works alongside your own IT team or alongside our managed IT service, and suits any organisation where uptime is contractual: hospitals, banks, logistics operators, government agencies and businesses that trade around the clock.

What the NOC does

From the first alert to the closing report

Six jobs the NOC does every day, so your team does not have to.

Monitoring that covers the whole estate

Every device, link and service gets health checks and thresholds tuned to its normal behaviour. That is what makes an alert worth acting on, and a quiet night worth believing.

  • Availability and latency of links, switches, firewalls and access points
  • Server CPU, memory, disk and service status
  • Virtualisation clusters and storage health
  • Cloud workloads in Microsoft Azure and Huawei Cloud
  • Application and URL checks, including certificate expiry
  • Server-room temperature and power sensors where installed

What you get: One agreed definition of healthy, checked every minute of every day.

How we work

Switching the NOC on, step by step

Most environments go live within weeks. We tune alerts before they carry a service level, so night-time calls mean something.

Start with a conversation
  1. Discover

We find every device and link, agree what “critical” means for your business and build the monitored inventory.

  2. Instrument

Monitoring agents, SNMP, syslog and API connections are configured, with thresholds based on your real traffic.

  3. Write runbooks

For each alert type we agree what the NOC does, who it calls and when it escalates, in writing.

  4. Run in parallel

Alerts are watched and tuned for a period without contractual targets, to remove false alarms before go-live.

  5. Go live

24/7 coverage begins with agreed service levels, named escalation contacts and a first monthly report scheduled.

  6. Improve

Monthly reports and quarterly reviews remove repeat incidents and keep thresholds tuned as the estate changes.

Coverage and targets

What the NOC watches, and how quickly it responds

Coverage is agreed per client. This is the typical scope and the response targets we usually propose.

What we monitor

LayerWhat is checkedTypical alert
Network devicesUp or down, interface errors, CPU, memory, temperature, configuration driftInterface down, rising error rate, device unreachable
Internet and WAN linksAvailability, latency, jitter, packet loss, bandwidth useLink down, degraded latency, sustained saturation
Servers and virtualisationCPU, memory, disk, services, host and cluster healthDisk above threshold, service stopped, host failure
Storage and backupCapacity, array health, backup job resultsFailed backup, degraded array, capacity forecast
Cloud workloadsInstance health, resource use, cost anomaliesVirtual machine stopped, quota reached, unexpected spend
ApplicationsURL and port checks, response time, certificate expiryPage unavailable, certificate expiring within 14 days
EnvironmentTemperature, humidity and power status where sensors existHigh temperature, UPS running on battery

Typical response targets

PriorityWhat it meansAcknowledgedUpdates
P1 CriticalA site, a critical system or the internet link is downWithin 15 minutes, 24/7Every 30 minutes until resolved
P2 HighA major function is degraded or a redundant path has failedWithin 30 minutes, 24/7Every hour

Built for Saudi Arabia and the GCC

A NOC that works to Saudi operating conditions

Uptime is not only a technical target in the Kingdom. It is a contract clause, a regulator's question and, for some of our clients, a public service.

Where we deliver

Riyadh · Jeddah · Dammam & Al Khobar · Madinah · the Eastern Province · Dubai & the UAE · Qatar · Kuwait · Bahrain · Oman

  • Planned around the Saudi calendar

Change windows follow the Saudi working week, Ramadan hours and public holidays, so planned work does not land on your busiest day.

  • Carrier and ISP liaison

We raise and chase faults with your carriers and internet providers, such as STC, Mobily and Zain, and keep the ticket history so repeat faults are visible.

  • Logging and monitoring evidence

Event and availability records support the logging and monitoring expectations in the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls and in ISO 27001 audits.

  • Data residency agreed up front

We agree where monitoring data and configuration backups are stored before onboarding, so residency requirements are met from day one.

  • Arabic and English communication

Incident updates and monthly reports in the language your leadership reads, in plain wording, not engineer shorthand.

Why GoAgile

Why organisations put their network in our hands

A NOC earns trust at 3 a.m. These are the commitments behind the service.

Engineers who fix

We measure time to restore service, not tickets closed. The first step is always diagnosis and a remote fix.

Updates written for managers

Incident updates say what is affected, what we are doing and when you will hear next, without jargon.

Tuned, not noisy

We spend the first weeks removing false alarms, so a call at night means something genuinely needs attention.

Runbooks agreed with you

Every alert type has an agreed action and escalation path, so nobody improvises during an outage.

We know how it was built

The team that designs data centres and installs cabling also runs the NOC, so faults are traced to their real cause.

Reports tied to the contract

Availability, response times and credits reported against the service levels you signed.

Want someone watching your network while you sleep?

Tell us what you run and where. We will propose coverage, service levels and a go-live plan, and tell you honestly if part of your estate does not need 24/7 attention.

Questions answered

Managed NOC Services FAQs

What is a NOC (network operations centre)?

A NOC is the team and the tools that monitor a network and its supporting infrastructure, detect faults and manage incidents until service is restored. A managed NOC provides that capability as a service, around the clock, without you having to build and staff an operations room.

What is the difference between a NOC and a SOC?

A NOC keeps systems available and performing: it watches links, devices, servers and applications and fixes faults. A security operations centre (SOC) detects and responds to cyber threats by analysing security logs and alerts. The two work together, and the NOC passes security-relevant events to the SOC or your security team.

Do you offer 24/7 monitoring?

Yes. The NOC monitors around the clock, every day of the year, with response targets agreed in the contract. For non-critical systems we can agree business-hours cover instead, which lowers the cost.

How much do managed NOC services cost in Saudi Arabia?

Pricing depends on the number of devices, links and services monitored, the coverage hours and the response targets. It is usually a fixed monthly fee with a one-off onboarding charge. We scope after a short discovery so the price reflects your actual estate.

What do you monitor?

Network devices, internet and WAN links, servers, virtual platforms, storage and backup jobs, cloud workloads, applications and, where sensors are installed, server-room temperature and power. We agree the monitored inventory with you during onboarding.

Can you monitor equipment from different vendors?

Yes. We monitor mixed estates, including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Huawei and Ubiquiti networks, VMware and Nutanix platforms, and Microsoft Azure and Huawei Cloud workloads, using standard protocols and APIs.

What happens when an alert fires at night?

An engineer validates the alert, sets the priority by business impact and starts remote diagnosis. If it is serious, the agreed escalation contacts are called and you receive updates at the agreed interval until service is restored.

Can the NOC work alongside our internal team?

Yes. Many clients use us for out-of-hours cover and for monitoring tools and process, while their own engineers handle changes and projects. Roles and escalation paths are written into the runbooks.

How long does onboarding take?

Most environments go live in a few weeks, depending on size and condition. We discover devices, configure monitoring, write runbooks and tune alerts in parallel before the service levels begin.

Do you provide reports for audits?

Yes. Monthly availability and incident reports, change records and log retention provide evidence for NCA ECC, ISO 27001 and internal audits.
