What is SAP Business One

SAP’s ERP for growing companies

SAP Business One is SAP’s ERP for small and mid-sized companies. It runs your accounts, sales, purchasing, stock, production and customer records on one system, and it can grow with you.

Business One gives a growing company the discipline of a large ERP without the size and cost of an enterprise project. It can run on your own servers or be hosted by a partner, and a large ecosystem of add-ons covers local and industry needs.

In Saudi Arabia and the GCC the local layer matters: Arabic and English documents, VAT and Zakat reports, and e-invoicing, which we handle as part of the project.

SAP Business One FAQs

What is SAP Business One?

SAP Business One is SAP’s ERP for small and mid-sized companies. It runs finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, production and customer records on one system, on your own servers or with a hosting partner.

Who is SAP Business One for?

It suits growing companies with fairly standard processes that want a complete ERP without an enterprise-scale project: trading, distribution, retail, light manufacturing, services and contracting companies.

What is the difference between Business One and S/4HANA?

S/4HANA is SAP’s ERP for larger and more complex organisations. Business One is lighter and quicker to roll out for smaller companies. We recommend the one that fits your size and plans, and can move you up later.

Does Business One work in Arabic and meet Saudi VAT and e-invoicing needs?

Yes. We set up Arabic and English documents and Saudi VAT and Zakat reports. We are a ZATCA e-invoicing solution provider, so e-invoicing is handled as part of your project. You should still confirm your ZATCA wave on ZATCA’s own site.

Can you customise Business One?

Yes. We add your own fields and tables, custom reports and print layouts, and connect Business One to other systems through its standard interfaces, so updates stay safe.

Can you migrate our data from Tally or Excel?

Yes. We clean and load customers, suppliers, items, balances and open entries from Tally, Excel and other systems, then reconcile them with your finance team before go-live.

How long does a Business One rollout take?

It depends on the modules, the number of users and companies, the data to migrate and the integrations. We confirm a timeline after a short workshop.

Do you provide SAP Business One services in Riyadh and the GCC?

Yes. Our head office is in Riyadh. We implement and support Business One for companies across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
