Security maturity assessment in Saudi Arabia: know where you stand, and what to do first

We score your security programme against recognised frameworks and the Saudi controls you answer to, show where you are strong and weak, and turn the result into a costed roadmap your leadership can approve.

  • NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, NCA and SAMA lenses
  • Evidence-based scoring, not just a questionnaire
  • A prioritised, costed roadmap and board summary

01Overview

What is a security maturity assessment?

A security maturity assessment measures how mature your cyber security programme is, across governance, risk, protection, detection, response and recovery, usually on a scale against a recognised framework. The result shows strengths and gaps, benchmarks you against expectations and gives leadership a basis for prioritising investment.

It is the right first step when you are unsure where to start, when leadership asks 'how secure are we?', or before committing to a compliance programme or a large technology purchase.

We combine interviews, document review and technical sampling, so scores rest on evidence, and present the output in a form a board can use.

Frameworks
NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, CIS Controls
Method
Interviews, document review, technical sampling

10Questions answered

Security Maturity Assessment FAQs

What frameworks can the assessment use?

NIST CSF 2.0 by default, with ISO 27001, NCA ECC, SAMA CSF and CIS Controls as alternative or additional lenses.

How long does it take?

Four to eight weeks, depending on size and the number of frameworks.

How is this different from an audit?

An audit tests compliance against specific requirements. A maturity assessment measures capability and priorities, and informs investment.

Will we get a roadmap?

Yes. The output includes a prioritised and costed roadmap and a board summary.

Can we repeat it annually?

Yes. Repeating the assessment shows progress and keeps the roadmap honest.

Do you assess SOC maturity?

Yes. We can assess security operations capability, including monitoring, detection coverage and response processes.
