Intelligent process automation in Saudi Arabia: RPA, AI and approvals working together
GoAgile automates the back-office work that eats your team's week: reading documents, keying data, routing approvals and chasing exceptions. We combine RPA, workflow and AI, keep a person in charge of exceptions, and connect everything to your ERP.
- Documents read, checked and posted to your ERP
- Approvals and exceptions routed to the right person
- RPA, workflow and AI chosen by what fits, not fashion

What it is
What is intelligent process automation?
Intelligent process automation (IPA) combines workflow rules, robotic process automation (RPA) and AI to complete business processes end to end. Rules and RPA handle the predictable steps, AI reads documents and handles judgement tasks, and people review the exceptions. The result is work that is faster, more consistent and fully traceable.
Plain RPA is brittle when inputs vary, such as invoices in many layouts or emails in free text. AI fills that gap by reading and classifying the input, while rules and approvals keep the process controlled. Where a process needs judgement across several systems, an AI agent can orchestrate it.
We start by measuring the process, not by buying a tool. Volume, error rate, handling time and exceptions decide whether a process is worth automating and which technique fits.

What we automate
From the inbox to the ledger
Six workstreams. Pick the process that costs you the most time, and start there.
Read invoices, forms and contracts automatically
Intelligent document processing reads Arabic and English documents, extracts the fields you need, checks them against your rules and passes clean results to your system, with a person reviewing anything doubtful.
- Arabic and English OCR and layout reading
- Invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and IDs
- Field extraction and validation rules
- Confidence scores and review queues
- Matching to purchase orders and masters
- Posting to the ERP
What you get
Data keyed once, checked automatically and traceable to the source document.
Bots for the repeatable steps, AI for the messy ones
Software robots log in, copy, post and reconcile across systems that have no API. AI handles the inputs that vary, so the automation does not break on every new layout.
- Robots for portals and legacy systems
- AI for reading and classifying inputs
- Scheduled and event-triggered runs
- Credentials in a secure vault
- Monitoring and alerting
- Fixes when screens change
What you get
Manual keying removed from processes that have no integration.
One flow across people, systems and bots
We design workflows that route work between people, bots and AI, with deadlines, escalations and a clear status for every item.
- Process maps turned into live workflows
- Approval chains and delegation
- Deadlines and escalations
- Status dashboards
- Integration with ERP, email and chat
- Audit trail for every step
What you get
Processes that run on time, with no work lost in someone's inbox.
Finance and operations without the manual steps
Invoice capture, payment matching, bank reconciliation, purchase approvals, expense checks and month-end tasks, automated inside your ERP.
- Supplier invoice capture and three-way matching
- Bank reconciliation support
- Expense and purchase approvals
- Customer statement and reminder runs
- Journal and accrual preparation
- Reports prepared for review
What you get
A shorter close and fewer posting errors.
Sort, answer and route the incoming work
AI reads shared inboxes and request forms, classifies the request, pulls out the details, drafts a reply or creates the ticket, and routes it to the right person.
- Classification and prioritisation
- Detail extraction from free text
- Draft replies for review
- Ticket and case creation
- Duplicate detection
- Arabic and English handling
What you get
Requests handled in minutes and nothing lost in a shared mailbox.
People stay in charge of what matters
Every automation has a review step for low-confidence results and risky actions, with the evidence in front of the reviewer so decisions are quick.
- Exception queues with evidence
- Confidence thresholds
- Approval limits by amount or risk
- Reviewer feedback improves the model
- Full audit log
- Metrics on straight-through processing
What you get
High automation rates without losing control.
How we work
From a slow process to a measured automation
We measure first, automate second, and show the numbers.
- 1
Measure
Volume, handling time, error rate and exceptions for the candidate processes.
- 2
Choose
Pick the process and technique with the best return and the lowest risk.
- 3
Design
Target process, exception handling, controls and integrations.
- 4
Build
Bots, document models and workflows, tested on your real documents.
- 5
Pilot
A parallel run beside the manual process, comparing results.
- 6
Scale
Go live, monitor, and add the next process using the same platform.
Reference
Which automation fits which process?
Two tables we use when choosing an approach.
Workflow, RPA, document AI or agent?
| Approach | Best for | Example | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workflow rules | Predictable steps and approvals | Purchase approval chain | Cannot read unstructured input |
| RPA | Repeatable actions in systems without APIs | Posting data into a legacy portal | Brittle if screens change |
| Document AI | Reading and extracting from documents | Supplier invoice capture | Needs review for low-confidence results |
| AI agent | Multi-step work needing judgement | Investigating a payment mismatch | Needs permissions and approvals |
Processes we commonly automate
| Process | What is automated | Systems |
|---|---|---|
| Accounts payable | Invoice capture, matching and posting | ERP, email, document store |
| Accounts receivable | Statements, reminders and cash application | ERP, bank statements |
| Procurement | Requests, approvals and purchase orders | ERP, policy library |
| HR onboarding | Document collection, accounts and checklists | HR system, directory |
| Customer requests | Classification, case creation and replies | CRM, email, WhatsApp |
| Reporting | Data gathering and first-draft reports | ERP, Power BI, spreadsheets |

Built for Saudi enterprises
Automation that is controlled, auditable and compliant
Automated processes touch money and personal data. We design the controls first.
Documents and data stay where you decide
Document AI can run on your own servers or in a Saudi-hosted environment, so invoices, IDs and contracts are not sent abroad unless your policy allows it.
- Hosting agreed up front
- Masking of personal data
- Retention and deletion rules
- Access control on documents
- No training on your documents by default
- Logs without sensitive content
What you get
Sensitive documents processed under your control.
Segregation of duties and approval limits
Bots and agents get their own identities and limited permissions. Approvals follow your delegation matrix, and nothing posts above its limit without a person.
- A separate identity for each bot
- Least-privilege access
- Approval limits and dual control
- Change control for automations
- Kill switch
- Audit-ready logs
What you get
Automation your auditors can accept.
Built for Saudi invoices and documents
Automations read Arabic and English documents and work with e-invoicing, so invoices captured or issued are valid and archived.
- Arabic and English document reading
- VAT fields and codes
- E-invoice data handled correctly
- Hijri and Gregorian dates
- Saudi bank and ERP formats
- Archiving for the retention period
What you get
Compliant documents without manual checking.
Every automation has an owner
A register of automations records the owner, the systems touched and the risk, aligned with SDAIA's AI Ethics Principles where AI is used.
- Automation register
- Owner and review schedule
- Explainable AI decisions
- Incident handling
- Performance reports
- Alignment with SDAIA principles and sector rules
What you get
Clear accountability for every automated process.
